The highly recommended annual Toronto genre convention Ad Astra will be held this upcoming weekend Mar 27-29 at the Crowne Plaza Toronto Don Valley Hotel, 1250 Eglinton Avenue East in Toronto.
Ad Astra is one of the more literary-focused of the genre cons, with an excellent programming stream for readers and writers. My panels and events at the con are as follows:
- Fri 10:00 pm – Panel: Instant Fiction (Ballroom Centre)
- Fri 10:30 pm – Reading from one of my Aurora-nominated works (Crowne Room)
- Sat 12:00 pm – Panel: Research Strategies for Writers (Wynford)
- Sat 1:00 pm – Book Launch: Impossibilia, my Aurora-nominated collection (Anton's)
- Sun 10:00 am – Panel: Conflict Within (Ballroom East)
- Sun 12:00 pm – Panel: Duelling Openings (Salon 343)
- Sun 1:00 pm – Panel: Instant Fiction (Salon 343)
- Sun 2:00 pm – Panel: Tesseracts Anthology (Ballroom Centre)
I'll be doing a draw for a free book at my reading, and there will be a special give-away at my launch with every purchase of Impossibilia. If you're in Toronto, check out the con. Registration at the door is available. Hope to see you there!
